What is the Pioneer Path?

The Pioneer Path is a new video series designed to take a closer look at the people who are creating their own paths across our region. Led by Brice Vance, copywriter and brand strategist at NEI, this series highlights individuals at every stage of their journey, including those just getting started and those who have been paving the way for years. The Pioneer Path expands on the regional storytelling shown in the NEI Pioneer Podcast and the Pioneer Starts Here video series, this time in the style of short-form documentaries.

About the host

Brice Vance is an award-winning journalist with several years of experience as a writer, producer and host. He joined NEI in January 2024, where he crafts narratives that inspire and amplify Northeast Indiana. Brice received his Bachelor’s in communications with a minor in media production from Purdue University Fort Wayne. He recently earned his Master’s in Sports Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
